About MarkPage

MarkPage is a free online tool that turns Markdown into a beautifully typeset, shareable web page. No sign-up, no setup—paste your text or drop in a .md file and get a short link in seconds to send to anyone.

Why we built it

Most of us write docs, notes, and tutorials in Markdown. But sharing them usually means sending a .md file and hoping the recipient has a reader, or manually copying content into some platform and re-formatting it. MarkPage collapses that step to a few seconds: you write, and it handles the layout, table of contents, link, and hosting.

Core features

  • No sign-up—open and use, no identity attached
  • Automatic, clickable table of contents (from h1–h3)
  • Syntax-highlighted code blocks with one-click copy
  • GitHub-flavored Markdown (tables, task lists, strikethrough, quotes)
  • Dark mode that follows the system
  • Hosted on Cloudflare's global edge network for fast loads
  • Sign in to manage, edit, and delete pages from My Documents

Privacy & security

MarkPage respects your privacy by default: publishing anonymously requires no login, and pages are never surfaced in any public listing.

  • Publish anonymously—no account, no identity attached
  • Pages live at random short links and are never listed publicly
  • Signed-in authors can password-protect individual pages
  • Signed-in authors can toggle search-engine indexing per page
  • Access passwords are stored only as hashes—never in plaintext
